How Cheap Can Food Get?

After eating quite a bit in Hong Kong yesterday, I decided to have a simple vegetarian meal for lunch today. To prove a point, I decided to eat at one of the ubiquitous Chinese “fast food restaurants” that has the slogan “5元吃饱10元吃好”, and paid 3 RMB (~S$0.60) for this:

Don’t be deceived by the price. The vegetables were fresh, crunchy, and tasty. A satisfying meal indeed!
